The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the expanse proclaims the work
of his hands.
Psalm 19:1

"A still more glorious dawn awaits / not a sunrise, but a galaxy-rise / a morning filled with 400 billion suns / the rising of the Milky Way"
~ Carl Sagan

There is nothing more awe-inspiring to me than watching the stars come out on a warm summer night and then seeking out the Milky Way. It evokes both childlike wonder and profound humility all at the same time. Watching the sunrise in the east at the same time as the moon setting in the west does much the same. How lucky am I that I should stand between these two giants of the sky and witness their greatness?
